For the past eight years, I have been quietly working 1:1 with a small group of mentees, offering personalized long-form curriculum in the art, science, and magic of ethnobotany, herbalism, and beyond.
Fellow fringe folk, the time has come to cast a net, and be in beautiful cahoots. It is my purpose-led pleasure to offer guidance on a profound vegetal quest.
This is not your ordinary herbal study encounter.
I am honored to present an old school educational relationship in a new school format -
online & in a thoughtfully arranged group!
While my background spans a wide range of botanical studes and practice, I will be drawing first & foremost from my elders, who I spent years & years in apprenticeship with. It is my privilege to carry a precious baton that has been generously passed to me, and, should you be a good fit, I will be honored to share in that lineage with you. With this is mind, please note that this is a sincere and deliberate undertaking not to be taken casually.
Whether you are a devotee of phytochemistry, a mythopoetic ecosexual, a history nerd, a clinical practitioner, an herb-curious beginner, on a lifelong quest to connect with your ancestral practices, a parent ready to take your childrens healthcare into her own hands, an ungovernable post-apocalyptic medic, or a homesteader ready to make your kitchen an herbalists lab, this walkabout will savor the palates of all the above and more, bringing seemingly disparate disciplines into a coherent, intertwining thing of beauty. Consider it an endowment to your communities, your ancestors, and the generations to come... all while getting right with yourself, and the land that holds you!
We will explore in a multi-dimensional way that is not focused on memorizing herbs and generic one-size-fits-all rules to the game, but rather, rooted in developing a tangible, lived grasp of the underlying mechanisms that inform the intelligence of your body, the body of plants & fungi, and the body of this earth. Together, we aim to cultivate, nurture, and enhance the authentic relationships therein.
Thirteen in-depth ethnobotany lectures, twelve practicums building hands-on skills, a hand-picked intimate cohort to amplify each others inherent gifts, perks a'plenty, and a suite of seasonal 1:1 mentorship calls to put your unique story at the heart of this adventure.
